Edmonds in Bloom celebrates some of the city?s best gardens

Edmonds in Bloom honored some of the most beautiful gardens in Edmonds Wednesday night, presenting awards to more than two dozen individuals in the annual Garden Competition.

Board President Larry Temple welcomed the nearly 100 people gathered at the Edmonds Center for the Arts for the annual affair, noting that Edmonds in Bloom ?really showcases the beauty of Edmonds, and that?s what it?s all about.?

Mayor Dave Earling speaks to the Edmonds in Bloom reception attendees Wednesday night.

Mayor Dave Earling offered brief remarks as well, stating that Edmonds in Bloom is an example of a home-grown ? literally! ? event that ?makes our town so healthy.?
